Andrii Romanovych: "We let all our players play whenever possible"

In the 8th round of the women's Super League-Dmart of the 2022/23 season, SC "Prometey" will play three matches: against the national teams of Ukraine U-15 and U-17 and "Alanta". It is the match against the Dnipro team that will be central in this game week of the championship of Ukraine. After all, one of the main contenders for the trophy will meet.

The coach of the "red and whites" Andrii Romanovych noted that his team tunes in to every game as much as possible, but it is almost impossible to predict the outcome of the meeting against "Alanta":

- Now we can definitely say that the game will be interesting. But what the score will be is unknown. The practice has shown that the match can end in favor of any of the teams with a "dry" score and in a tie-break. Of course, both sides will try to win.

In the last round of the national championship, Andrii Vasyliovych was dissatisfied with the actions of his team. In particular, in the match against Halychanka-ZUNU, despite the victory (3-0), our athletes often made mistakes, due to which the overall picture of the game was not really as it was expected.

- Of course, we are working on mistakes. In addition, the moments that are more or less working well for the team are getting polished. In that match, the main role was played by the psychological aspect, not the technical aspect. I think that the girls understood everything, especially now there are no special complaints about their work. I hope that it will be the same in the official games, - said Romanovych.

Taking into account the game calendar, some volleyball players of "Prometey" will again have the opportunity to show themselves as good players, for example, in meetings with representatives of the national teams of Ukraine.

- If possible, we let all volleyball players play. After all, the fate of the medals will be decided in the playoff games anyway. And by that time, it is necessary to prepare the players so that they are ready to come in as a substitute at any moment. For this, the players must feel the court, and the rhythm, and be in the game tone - concluded the head coach of "Prometey".
