Ivan Petkov's wards finished the first round of the championship of Ukraine with a hundred percent performance. In their second match, our athletes did not leave any chances to the team from Vinnytsia.
The head coach of the "red and whites" Ivan Petkov once again made a rotation: from the first minutes, middle blocker Diana Meliushkina and outside hitter Melisa Ege Bukmen appeared on the court. It was the Turkish player's successful actions that helped her team to move away by three points (6:3) at the start.
"Prometey" continued to gather momentum. The double block of Svitlana Dorsman and Daria Sharhorodska forced Yuliia Yakusheva to take a break (15:8). In fact, the players from Vinnytsia did not do much in the first set, even the second time-out — 25:10 — did not affect the development of events.
In the next set, too, there was no intrigue. The team from Vinnytsia did not manage to adjust their game in attack, they did not have time to "cover" the attacks of the opponents. In addition, there were quite a lot of their errors. Hence the score on the scoreboard — 25:5.
"Dobrodiy" scored more points in the first half of the third set than in the previous set (7:6). The representatives of this club began to cling to the points. Perhaps, somewhere, the reigning champions themselves have relaxed.
Whatever we can say, Yakusheva's wards took the lead at the end of this set (17:18). However, one got the impression that they themselves did not believe in this success. After that, the initiative once again passed into the hands of the Dnipro team - 25:22.
